Child Safety and Statutory Committees

In compliance with CBSE guidelines, the school has constituted the following committees:

  • Mental Health and Wellness Committee
  • Anti-Bullying Committee
  • Discipline Committee
  • POCSO Committee

The school conducts regular awareness sessions for students and parents on personal safety, emotional well-being, appropriate behaviour, and digital safety.

Anti-Bullying Committee

The Anti-Bullying Committee ensures a supportive, respectful, and safe learning environment across classrooms, playgrounds, and digital spaces.

Objectives:

  • Maintain a learning environment free from fear, abuse, or harassment
  • Prevent, detect, and respond promptly to bullying incidents
  • Raise awareness among students, teachers, and parents about the impact of bullying
  • Promote values of respect, empathy, discipline, and cooperation
  • Provide counselling and support to both victims and offenders
  • Establish clear procedures for reporting, recording, and resolving bullying cases
  • Regularly review and strengthen preventive and disciplinary measures

  • Counsellor: Headmistress
  • Student Representatives: One Boy & One Girl
  • Teacher Representatives: Male & Female
  • Administrative/Support Staff Member

Discipline Committee

The Discipline Committee maintains a safe, orderly, and respectful school environment, promoting positive behaviour and ensuring adherence to the school code of conduct.

Objectives:

  • Ensure a disciplined and respectful environment
  • Promote self-discipline, responsibility, and accountability
  • Address indiscipline and misconduct promptly and fairly
  • Provide counselling and guidance for positive behaviour
  • Encourage respect toward teachers, peers, school property, and society
  • Spread awareness about good conduct and moral values
  • Strengthen communication among teachers, students, and parents
  • Instil values such as punctuality, honesty, empathy, and cooperation
  • Support a conducive atmosphere for academic excellence and holistic development

  • Student Members: Head Girl & Head Boy

POCSO Committee

The POCSO Committee ensures the safety and protection of all students in compliance with the POCSO Act, 2012.

Objectives:

  • Maintain a safe and abuse-free environment for all students
  • Spread awareness among students, staff, and parents about child rights and POCSO Act
  • Prevent any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation
  • Establish a transparent and confidential system for reporting and addressing cases
  • Handle complaints with sensitivity, dignity, and confidentiality
  • Provide counselling and emotional support to affected children
  • Train teachers, staff, and committee members in child-protection protocols
  • Ensure all actions comply with the provisions of the POCSO Act, 2012
